Lovely and quiet, great walk for the dogs. The welcome pack for the dogs was a nice touch and we loved the scones.

It was a nice peaceful spot, the Ninja bbq was great and we used it almost every night. We actually have now purchased one ourselves. The hot tub was great for relaxing in as well. It was lovely seeing the swallows swooping about and you were only a 10/15 minutes drive from things to do.

The location was within 50 minutes drive of most of the beaches and attractions which for Cornwall is good

The lodge was outstanding in my opinion, it was stunning inside and out, had everything we needed and more, a very tranquil holiday, we miss it already!
You literally had everything covered and to be welcomed with a cream tea all those little extras you went above and beyond and it was very much appreciated.
The copper bath was a massive hit and a memory my children will keep forever.
We had a couple of things we weren't sure about during our stay and they were dealt with instantly - thank you!

The approach, an oasis, driving through beautiful lanes, to meet the white buildings and a simple sign "The Vale" Tasteful and welcoming.
We are three generations, I am 88 years old, my son,55, and his two dogs, down to granddaughter 23 years old Plus her boyfriend for a few days. Was lovely to have a welcome pack for us, and one each for doggies. Everything suited us all, the rooms, the beds and bed linen, superb kitchen, and every utensil and appliance you could want. Could not wish for, or find a nicer holiday venue. A real recharge batteries haven.
The only necessity from visitors is a competent, and confident driver for Cornish lanes

We enjoyed using the Ninja woodfire for our breakfast in the morning and having a choice of seating outside. Sofa seating and table and chairs.

It just had “the feeling” that we always search for in a holiday home. Our little lodge felt really relaxing and just had a lovely vibe to it. The outdoor space was perfect we loved the bath and shower outside! Having the little park next to our lodge was also so handy and lovely.

Matt also was great when I extended our stay and allowed us to stay later to check out 1.30 instead of 12.

The cottage was lovely and cool compared to the excessive heat outside, the hot tub was amazing. Really beautiful toiletries. Scones very nice. Kitchen excellence and well stocked. Deco and furniture beautiful. Brilliant for large family holidaying together x

The jacuzzi/hot tub was very welcome considering the heat wave we are currently experiencing.
